What do your clients love most about your performances?
The music is all important to us and we provide energy, class and demonstrate a relentless passion for the music played to ensure we do justice to some of the finest music the world has ever produced. We play because we love to play! Not just a collection of fine musicians but a real band!
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We've performed at countless weddings, parties, funk/soul nights and corporate events across the UK. Our musicians have played in places as diverse as Wembley Arena, London’s famous Marquee and Ronnie Scotts.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Growing up in the 70s and 80s we were all listening and dancing to the like of Luther Vandross, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Jocelyn Brown, Rose Royce, Wild Cherry, Sugar Hill Gang, Chaka Khan, Shalamar, McFadden & Whitehead, Aretha Franklin, Sister Sledge, Chic, Stevie Wonder, Maze, The Gap Band and George Benson and many more.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Opening at The Waterfront in Norwich, for Alexander O'Neal.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Bass, Guitar, Keys, Drums and Sax. Our Keys and Sax players will happily play at daytime drinks or marriage reception if the band is booked to play in the evening.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We are totally flexible and will work with you to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
We provide background music as standard. You may also link iPhone/Android with our system to play your preferred music at no extra cost. We can also provide a DJ which is a popular request but may cost an additional fee subject to location and finishing times.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually set up and sound check about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. We can setup early at no extra cost. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide background music to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!
Can you roam around while you perform?
We use radio mics and wireless systems so enable us to come out and join in the fun.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for you.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 10m by 5m space to perform.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. However, if there is a special song you'd like us to learn, we'll be more than happy to do this for you at no extra cost.
