The New Foundations

The New Foundations are one of the few experienced 6-piece bands that recapture that authentic Motown sound. We play all the hits of The Foundations plus an extensive repertoire of the '60s, Soul and Motown classics! ABOUT THE BAND: Keith, our drummer, formed the band in 2007. Keith had been friends with Alan Warner, The Foundations guitarist, and formed The New Foundations to satisfy his desire of getting out there and playing classic hits of the '60s, Soul, and Tamla Motown music! The core members of the band (Guitar, Sax, Drums and Keyboards) have remained consistent until now, resulting in a tight, professional unit. When you Book The New Foundations, you get: • Six first-class musicians playing the best professional standard instruments • State-of-the-art PA system with stage monitoring • The latest LED lighting rigs • An entirely 100% LIVE experience. Nothing is pre-recorded (no backing tracks!) The attitude and conduct of the band are of the highest professional standard at all times. Our members bring to performances their wealth of experience on stage, screen and recording, and their extensive experience playing clubs, weddings, celebratory events, corporate functions, festivals, holiday villages, and large or small venues, inside or outside. The New Foundations have also enjoyed success on major circuits in The UK, Germany and Denmark. They can play music of their (or your!) choice through the PA during the interval between sets, and before and after the band play until the PA is dismantled, and wireless microphones are available for speeches if required (all free of charge). The band also has Public Liability insurance (up to £10 million), and all equipment is PAT tested (all documentation available on request). We are more affordable than you might think!
