• ABOUT THE BAND: The Nat O'Brien Band is a collective of professional musicians who can provide a range of live band lineups covering a diverse range of popular music. Their experience and pedigree speak for themselves, involving musicians from Greater Manchester who have incredible talent and professional music industry experience. What you get is Live Entertainment from musicians that know how to produce a performance to suit the occasion or moment in your event. First dances, ceremony songs, background drinks receptions or rocking and funking with the masses our musicians know how to do the lot. With years of experience, we work with our clients and know how to judge when performances need to be fun, emotionally engaging and involving the audience. Always engaging and always a professional performance! • EXPERIENCED: This band has experience playing for and with some great acts over the years and they have used their experience to create a red-hot entertainment experience. The band have years of touring experience and as a result, can plan for your event whether it’s in Greater Manchester, the other side of the country, across Europe or the other side of the world, our collective experience leads to realistic and accurate planning. We share our experience with our clients (and liaise with venues) to help plan and ensure you are informed and most importantly that the entertainment for your event is a real highlight! • VERSATILE: The Nat O'Brien Band provide a whole host of performances from acoustic or lounge duos, and trios to full party and events bands from four to ten-piece (with brass section & additional female vocalist available). The band can also offer fill or DJ services for your event. Our years of experience mean that we have performed hundreds of songs from all kinds of genres including Indie, Rock, Funk, Soul, Motown, Pop, Punk, Disco, Jazz, and Acoustic. • MEET THE BAND: Nat O'Brien: Vocalist and frontman for Manchester bands over the last 20 years, Nat has regularly played with the likes of Alabama 3, Ocean Colour Scene, The Bluetones, The Blockheads, Manchester legends Elbow and 808 State. Pete Marshall: A renowned drummer – but can also play the violin, mandolin, spoons, nose flute, and power tools. Respected musician having toured with Squeeze and Madness, recorded and toured extensively with Paul Heaton (Beautiful South/Housemartins), and has also played with The Courteeners, Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), Stephen Fretwell and others. Sam Morris: Bassist -Guitarist, french hornist, pianist, composer/arranger, teacher, conductor (orchestras not buses). He's an all-round multi-trick pony with a wealth of experience in the music industry, having played with Badly Drawn Boy, Snow Patrol, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott (Beautiful South) & Marillion (amongst others) and numerous orchestras in the North West. Dale Harrop: Guitarist - A Professional guitarist and tutor, Dale Harrop has been playing the guitar for nearly 20 years. Having performed across Europe and the United Kingdom, the award-winning guitarist is a bona fide shredder! He’s also got a delicate touch and is a fine jazz and classical guitarist…he’s got it all covered. Christian Madden: Keyboards - Christian has a wealth of live and recording experience playing for a range of bands including Jimi Goodwin (Doves), Plan B, Denny Laine, Tokolosh, Micah P Hinson, Paul Heaton, the Animals, Steve Cropper, The Earlies, King Creosote, Paul Heaton, I Am Kloot and Cherry Ghost to name a few.
