The Moon Groove Collective are a flexible band performing as a duo, all the way up to a 5-Piece band. Genres covered include soul, funk, jazz, lounge, and more. Artists covered include the likes of Paolo Nutini, Michael Kiwanuka, Bill Withers, Jamie Cullum and Gregory Porter. Our covers attempt to put a unique, playful and groovy spin on the original. The band are based in Plymouth and the South Hams, and can travel across the South-West.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, there is one lead male vocalist and two backing vocalists

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we are completely flexible. We can play as a duo (vocals, guitar, saxophone), a trio (plus bass, keys or drums), a 4-piece and 5-piece.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are fairly flexible within reason to timing changes and would be happy to discuss things whenever changes do happen

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We would be happy to play music over our PA system before during and for a short period after our set(s). We can offer a more extensive DJ service after the set for an additional fee of £100

How much time do you need to set up?

We would normally need an hour to set up, plus a 30 minute sound check.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We usually have a fixed set list of songs, but we would be happy to send over our comprehensive list of songs on request for you to choose a few favourites from

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

PA and a basic lighting setup is included. If a more elaborate lighting is required, this would need to be arranged seperately

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We would be happy to learn a song if requested to, at an additional fee of £50.
