The McCommitments formed in 2021 as a one-off charity project, born out of a shared love for the iconic soul music immortalized in the 1991 film The Commitments. What began as a single heartfelt performance quickly turned into something much bigger. The first show sold out, and the overwhelming response from the audience made it clear—the soul of this music had to live on. Since then, The McCommitments have become a staple on the Scottish live music scene, regularly selling out venues across the country and captivating crowds with their authentic, high-energy performances.
