The McCommitments opened for the Scotland Football Team when they played Germany in The Euro24 Championships.
Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
Yes. Big Stevie, our lead singer has never missed a show with The McCommitments. If he was not available we do have a great singer on the wings who can deputise for him.
Do you have different line-up options?
No. We strive to create an authentic soul sound. The brass sound cannot be recreated on keyboard or backing tracks.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We are really flexible, if you keep us the loop with timing changes. We will do out utmost to accommodate it.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
We don't have DJ, but we can certainly play music for you.
How much time do you need to set up?
Usually about 2 hours.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Sure.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
As we tend to play larger venues with PA and lighting fitted. This is not included. We are happy to work with you on arrangements if there isn't one on site.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
We can't promise anything, but give us enough notice and we usually do.
