The Long Weekend are a fun and energetic four-piece band, with a wealth of experience in playing live music at weddings, events and corporate parties. Consisting of four core full-time members, you can book entirely at ease knowing that when you hire The Long Weekend for your event you will be hiring a highly experienced professional act that performs and rehearses with each other week-in, week-out, right throughout the year, and they have been doing exactly that since the band came into existence. Each member is totally dedicated to their craft and bring their exceptionally high standards to every event that they are invited to perform at. Mixing a vast but eclectic blend of timeless pop and rock covers, featuring artists such as Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, The Killers, and many more! A band fronted with stunning female vocals, exquisite guitar playing and the tightest of rhythm sections, The Long Weekend are sure to keep people dancing all night long, with a goal of ensuring that your party is the best it can be so that you and your guests leave with great memories, and a story to tell! The Long Weekend pride themselves in using the highest quality instruments, sound equipment and PA system, along with a full lighting setup to really create the most magical live entertainment experience for you and your guests.

Where do I even begin? This band made such a huge impact on the day of our wedding! The dance floor was full from the first song, up until the end. They play a huge range of music from all eras so everyone is entertained. We loved how the band walked through the crowd and the atmosphere was electric! The energy they gave our friends fand amily thrived from. Everyone I’ve spoken to about our wedding comments on how amazing they were. I cannot wait for another big family event so we can book again! If you’re looking for a band for a function I promise you they will not disappoint. Thank you to all of the band for being simply awesome!

What an amazing band! Our friends booked The Long Weekend for their wedding and it was such a crazy night! The lead singer was excellent, vocals were amazing, the guitarist and bassist were so talented and the drummer was fantastic! The band had such a powerful stage presence and really engaged with the crowd! Would highly recommend for any event as they are guranteed to get everyone onto the dance floor!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.
