After previously seeing The Lives Notes at another venue, my wife and I asked them to perform for our wedding in April 2022 From the outset everything was handled professionally. Communication was excellent and they essentually held our hands through the process which certainly helped to alleviate stress our end. On the day we had the L2 duo along side reception drinks which went down a treat with our guests and the 5 piece band for the evening who in turn worked with the venue DJ between sets so everything joined up seamlessly. The atmosphere was fantastic and the band read the room well to adapt their playing to suit what was happening on the dance floor. I couldn't recommend the band anymore. There are certainly no regrets on our side and we're so glad we chose them to perform at our wedding.

We booked the Live Notes for our companies 21st Birthday Party, they were fantastic, so talented and brought an amazing energy to the night. They read the crowd really well and were a pleasure to work with! Would book them again in a heartbeat! Thanks George and band :)

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level

Do you have different line-up options?

Whilt the 6 piece band is our core band, The Live Notes is a 4-10 piece live band, which can include multiple singers, interchangeable brass, full brass sections, and percussion, the scale is up to you.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

As standard we provide DJ Service throughout the night. And whats best is, it's included in the price, no nasty hidden extras!

How much time do you need to set up?

1 hour

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can indeed. We have our core set which evolves each year using what's hot in the charts and which tunes from our childhoods start to bring back that nostalgic party vibe we all want. This being said, we offer free changes from our master set to help build the night around you!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. We are happy to learn up to 3 songs free of charge per event.
