The Latiesha Maria Band consists of Latiesha herself on Lead Vocals, Robin Brisley on Guitar and backing vocals, Marcel Pleasance on Percussion and Steve Gibbs on Lead Guitar and backing vocals. The guys are all very experienced musicians, each with decades of entertaining an audience under their belts, while Latiesha is an amazingly talented singer you'll be catching near the start of her career in the music business. It's only a matter of time before her incredible voice comes to the attention of a major record label, but in the meantime you can book her for yourself! Her interpretation of soul classics is mesmerising, while she also has the range to deliver fantastic R 'n B and up tempo crowd pleasers, making for a performance you'll be talking about for years. We're based near Peterborough, UK, but for the right fees we'll happily travel anywhere on the planet to entertain you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

They tell us they love Latiesha's soulful voice, the great music from her backing band and the banter with the audience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Separately we've performed in every type of venue from cellar bars and scout huts through to large theaters and even stadiums, and for small private parties or weddings, through pubs to huge corporate or sporting events and festivals. We're hugely experienced entertainers.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Latiesha sets the tone for our musical choices, as it is all about showcasing her amazing voice. Major influences are Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Etta James

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The band were engaged to perform at the opening of a new theatre in Peterborough, which was awesome.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Absolutely! The Latiesha Maria Band was formed to showcase the amazing vocal talents of Latiesha Maria.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we do. Latiesha and Robin can perform as a duo with just guitar and vocals, ideal for more intimate venues, while we can add Marcel or Steve to that to form a Trio when required. We perform most often as the 4-piece Latiesha Maria Band: Latiesha - Lead Vocals Robin - Guitar and Backing Vocals Marcel - Percussion Steve - Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If required, at no extra charge we can play popular tunes before/in-between the band sets. Alternatively, if you have a laptop, Ipod, phone etc. with music on it then we can use that. We can also do the same after we have finished performing for the night, but as that means we need to be at the venue for longer there will be a small extra fee.

How much time do you need to set up?

Usually we require around an hour to set up all of our equipment and perform a sound check to make sure everything is working as expected. This is based on good, straightforward access to the performance area from a nearby parking place. We then require around 15-20 minutes to get changed and ready for the performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We're pretty confident that the set list we have evolved over many years of performing will please just about everyone. We're more than happy to discuss which numbers from our repertoire you'd like us to perform - and any you'd rather we didn't!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, all we need from you is a suitable mains electricity supply and a sheltered, level performance area at least 4 metres wide by 2 metres deep - and ideally twice that size!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We'd be delighted to add a number or two of your choice (for example, a specific song you'd like for your First Dance at your wedding), as long as there is enough time between when you book us and the performance date - we obviously need time to learn and rehearse new songs!

As a popular music and food venue in Peterborough, we have called upon the Latiesha Maria Band to support us. A great mix of RnB, Soul and popular classics. Our clients enjoy the music with the gentle banter from the band. I would recommend the band to anyone, as they are 100% reliable, good fun and a quality act. We'll be booking them thru 2023!
