The Holland Quartet

The Holland Quartet are a London based string quartet who formed in 2016. Its members were trained at Trinity Laban and the Royal Academy of Music and include Olivia Holland (1st violin), Rosie Judge (2nd violin), Abby Bowen (viola) and Susie Blankfield (cello). The quartet have established a strong musical dynamic in their work, performing major contemporary repertoire alongside music of other genres. Venues that The Holland Quartet have performed at include The Jazz Cafe, Cadogan Hall, London Palladium, XOYO & 67 Pall Mall where they held a residency in 2017; at these and many others, the quartet have showcased a variety of performances from cuban jazz to Bollywood & Middle Eastern Grooves. These talented young musicians have both collectively & individually embraced session work for BBC Radio 1, MTV & ITV's X Factor, and have recorded a number of pop & electronic EPs. Band work includes performances alongside Biffy Clyro, Clean Bandit, Eminem, Sam Smith & Bring Me The Horizon as part of the Parallax Orchestra. The Holland Quartet play on both acoustic & electric instruments, and can deliver an astounding performance to suit any event, be it in the background of a romantic wedding or taking centre stage for a pop show.
