The Hey Las

The Hey Las are a close-harmony vintage girl group, based in London, performing Doo-Wop classics with a full band, piano or backing tracks. They perform a nostalgic soundtrack of hits; combining jukebox diner pop with sultry teen melodrama, dreamy innocence and vintage glamour. Think big harmonies, authentic killer outfits from the sixties and some rather special dance moves! The girls are inspired by their favourite bands of the '50s & '60s, like The Shangri-Las, The Chiffons, The Poni Tails, The Crystals, The Ronettes and many others beginning with ‘The’; covering songs about the important things in life such as love, heartache, fantasy, Thunderbirds (the car!) and postmen! The Hey Las regularly play at a variety of events in the UK; including vintage shows, underground pop-up dinners, immersive theatre and cinematic events, corporate parties, not-so corporate parties, weddings and cabaret shows.
