The Herts String Duo play a variety of material ranging from classical favourites to pop, film, musicals, jazz standards, folk and blues. Perfect as background music for weddings, hotels, restaurants, formal dinners, afternoon tea, cocktail parties, anniversaries, summer balls, corporate events and private functions.
The combination of violin and classical/acoustic guitar will add a touch of class to any event, with a beautiful blend of instrumental sounds.
Angela ( violin / electric violin) and Clive ( classical / acoustic / electric guitar) are experienced professional musicians who have played with various bands, ensembles and orchestras throughout their careers, touring and performing at theatres and concert venues in the UK and abroad, including the South Bank, Royal Albert Hall, Barbican, Brixton Academy, Covent Garden and West End Theatre, as well as working on TV, radio shows and recording sessions. They have also played in hotels, including the Savoy in London, and at many weddings and parties in a variety of groups.
They recently formed the Herts String Duo, having worked together on various other projects for several years. They have a wide repertoire of music, which is being continually expanded and updated, and they are happy to personalise your event.
The Herts String Duo are able to play acoustically or with amplification as required.
