An upbeat exciting party band with experience of 700+ weddings and parties in the UK and abroad. Really easy to work with and will bring an exciting set of songs to your party. The build up and communication before hand is just as important as the party itself so we work hard to find out what you want and can deliver it from the first song right through to the end. We base our sound on a 100% live band and do not use backing tracks. We like to feed off the energy and the action on the dancefloor and get involved, if there's a dance off, throw down, beat drop, doing the worm - were there!! We have a depth of experience from playing all over the UK, working in some very prestigious London venues, working with high profile touring musicians and regularly travelling aboard for parties and events. We work with an organic set list meaning we adapt our song choices in real time to what suits your guests the best. If there's a particular vibe going we will fit straight into that.

Groovemores were absolutely fabulous! Paul was amazing at calling us and prepping for the wedding and it felt so personalised to us and our music tastes. The whole band that evening were so interactive and we couldn't have asked for a better evening! The DJing from Paul in-between sets made it flow so well and we were all partying all night! All our friends and family were raving about the band (and friends even got their details for their own upcoming weddings!). Can't thank Groovemores enough for an absolutely fantastic show!

Emily & Mike choose a great upbeat first dance song which set the tone for the whole evening. As soon as their family and friends were beckoned on to the dance floor the energy didn't drop. Great direction from the couple in advance as to their music taste which helped us choose our repertoire accordingly and the party didn't stop. We were so pleased to be a part of this couples lovely day.

The Groovemores played our wedding in May. We had their 4 piece line up with DJ, singer, bongos and sax. It was hard to find a band that could provide exactly what we wanted at an affordable price and this is exactly what The Groovmores delivered! Up to the day, Paul was great with communication and listened to exactly what we wanted / didn’t want. Paul and Alex preformed our first dance song, with Paul playing the guitar. This was a beautiful cover and an extra special touch for our wedding day! They had almost all of the guests (even the oldies) up and dancing all night! All the musicians got out onto the dance floor and brought the party vibes. Chris on the sax was outstanding, everyone was asking how we knew him because he got so involved with the crowd (we didn’t know him haha). They were efficient with their setting up and packing away. Everything was great from start to finish! We are so pleased we booked The Groovemores and would definitely recommend them ⭐️

Amazing - 10/10 seriously cannot fault them. We really wanted a fun interactive band for our wedding and they 100% hit that in every way. They were so friendly and kind and people asked how we knew them (we didn’t) as they just fitted right in with everyone! Incredible musicians and completely read the room for what to sing. They prepared our first dance song for us too and sent a recording for us to have. All in all an incredible incredible band and acoustic duo. Cannot rate highly enough.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

The core line up on the band (brothers Kevin and Paul) ensure the band deliver the style and high quality feel that we have spent years building. Using the best musicians available means that occasionally we need to adjust the line up and we are lucky to have some amazing singers on hand which also means we have back ups to cover any illness.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes we do! Our main line up is Vocals, Guitar, Bass and Drums but we are able to add additional line ups such us - Percussionist - Additional Singers - Horn Section - Keys player - Scratching DJ for extra funk! Let us know what you would like to suit your style and budget and we can provide the band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the end of the party just let us know and we can give you a quote to cover this.

How much time do you need to set up?

We require an hour before our performance to set up. As soon as our PA is set up we can play background music to start building the party before we start playing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have quite an extensive set list so we are happy for you to have an input in to which songs we include and miss out. We have experience over over 400 weddings and parties so we have an organic approach to matching our set to your audience which means have a live reactive approach. You won't know this is happening but it means we give you the best set.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, the PA and lighting is included in our quote. It covers an audience size up to 200 people so if you have more guests attending or a room of particular size then please let us know in advance so we can work with you to cater to your event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are always happy to discuss a particular song request in advance.
