The Frank Reid Scottish Ceilidh Band are the top traditional Scottish Ceilidh band outside of Scotland.
Franks band made a good night into a great night, I could only afford two members of the band but despite that it was enough and my guests enjoyed them selves and their attempts to dance.
Frank Reid has been playing Scottish music on the accordion since he was 15 over four decades ago. In the first two decades the band played almost exclusively for enthusiast Scottish dancers but since then have evolved into a Scottish Ceilidh band offering a package including calling the dances for novice audiences with little or no knowledge of Scottish dancing. Frank’s daughter is a champion Irish dancer so there is a wealth of Irish culture available within the band too.
