These guys are absolutely class!!! Communication leading up to the wedding was perfect and they were so accommodating with our requests. We’re big fans of The 1975 and they played four of their songs for us including one that was really special. Wished we’d booked them for longer! Some of our friends who are getting married next year have already enquired! Thanks for everything guys, you made a special day even more special!! ❤️

Best wedding band we've ever seen! They were always quick at responding, learnt our first dance song perfectly and picked a set list that matched our guests to a tee. They were a great laugh whilst remaining professional and efficient in their set ups etc, and are also incredibly talented. We had compliments from guests all night on their talent and quality, could not recommend them more!!!

The four kicks were absolutely fantastic. Even though they needed an extra half hour to set up (unsure on reason but was not a problem for us at all), they absolutely rocked the house down. Very accomodating with our music choices and sounded absolutely fantastic. Had multiple people comment on how good they were and my wife and myself can only agree. The guys themselves are very friendly and even managed to have a quick laugh with them beforehand. If you want a indie leaning band, that sound great, can read the vibe and adjust accordingly and add to your celebration I couldn't recommend these guys enough. Hopefully we'll get to see them perform again some time soon.

Hi James, thanks so much for the kind words - we’re really pleased you and your guests enjoyed the performance! Just to clarify, we were on site early and were ready to set up, but access to the space was held up by the venue who were turning the room for the evening. Once we were let in, we got everything sorted as quickly as possible to get the day back on track with minimal disruption. Delighted it all came together and that you had a great night, lovely to meet you!

These guys are a must have ! Incredible from start to finish. Extremely professional in the organisational phase and kindly agreed to learn our first dance within the initial quote. Their performance was sublime- we have just been flooded with comments from our guests about how good the Four Kicks are ! Without a doubt, these guys have to be your first choice for a band! We would recommend them to everyone; put simply, they are awesome!!!!

10/10 as good as the originals (and a little bit better!). Saw the guys play live in Knaresborough for our annual arts festival and although a small venue and a small crowd everybody was beaming with enthusiasm for more. We’ll be following you up for updates on the next local gig (and thanks for the track dedication too!)

Unbelievably AWESOME band. I booked these guys for my 40th birthday party! I couldn’t have chosen a better band. Rob Lea was brilliant with all my requests and even recommended some amazing acoustic acts to accompany them. So much talent. Such great vocals. Brilliant musicians. I HIGHLY recommend these guys for any party or event. And wouldn’t think twice about booking them in the future. Get them booked. You won’t regret it!!!

If there are songs on this list that you definitely want to hear, let us know at least 4 weeks before the event - some of them we might not have played for some time, so we will happily rehearse them and get them sounding great, otherwise we can't guarantee they will be played at your performance.

We are happy to learn songs where possible for a small additional charge. We just ask that you give us at least a few weeks' notice to do so (although they may have to be adapted to work in our style.).

What do your clients love most about your performances?

A mind-boggling variety of songs, inspired medleys, 3 part vocal harmonies and a big sound that you wouldn't expect from a four-piece band. We're committed to making our act the best it can be for each particular event and will always try to be as accommodating as we possibly can be.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have had the pleasure of performing at all kinds of venues all over the UK and abroad - from countless wedding venues, pubs and restaurants, town/village halls, music venues, festivals and private houses/gardens. We're comfortable in any setting - from local intimate family gatherings to crowds of thousands at venues like The Palladium in Riga.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Our other band persona is as a Kings of Leon tribute act so their music has obviously had a huge influence on us, however, as a function band we draw on some of the biggest artists from the last 60 years to ensure there is something for everyone. From the likes of Ben E King, Prince and Tina Turner through to Coldplay, George Ezra and Ed Sheeran.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have some fantastic memories of some truly unforgettable gigs but perhaps the one that sticks out the most is our headline performance at Europe's biggest tribute festival 'Tribfest' to a crowd of 10,000 people.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get but will be sure to get in touch if there are any changes. We do have reliable 'dep' musicians available to cover in the unlikely event that a band member is unavailable but rest assured that they will be of the highest standard and this usually applies to the instrumentation rather than the singer.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Rob - Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar Matt - Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals Tom - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals Alex - Drums We can also offer a 3-piece option as well as an acoustic set-up if requested.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely, this is a really popular request, especially for weddings. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA before, between and after the band sets, we provide this for an additional £250 - see our add-ons section in 'Price Guides'.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually like to set up around 1.5 to 2 hours before the performance time as this gives us plenty of time to allow for a sound check and make sure everything is in order before we start. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances over years of playing live and learning what works best to ensure that guests have the most amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to discuss with you and make sure we find what works for your event - if there are songs on our list that you definitely want or don't want then just let us know.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system are included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 4m by 3m space to perform as well as access to a power socket.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list then there may still be a chance we already know it. If we don't already know a specific song then we are happy to learn it especially for your event if requested. There is a fee of £62.50 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
