The Fletchet is a versatile Jazz group that has been together since September 2021. Since then we have performed at many gigs/venues across Cornwall. Centred in the Truro, these gigs have been in places from Penzance up to Bude. Our style of Jazz is unique, in that it blends the old ‘real book’ standards with our own individual improvisational styles, giving us a fresh sound while still being compatible in multiple scenarios and audiences. On Sunday the 16th July 2023 we had the very talented young musicians Fletchtet attend Bude Jazz Club to perform during our intermission. Our members loved them so much that I have now asked them to return in Dec 2024 to play as our main band. It is lovely to see such talent in young musicians nowadays and a great understanding of Jazz.
