Alternative Rock covers band playing the best of the 90s and 00s. If you like Oasis, Pulp, Green Day and Stereophonics, you’ll love us!

The Flaming Keys bring alternative rock hits from the 80's, 90's and 00's. We bring tunes from the iconic bands of the era, including Oasis, Foo Fighters, Pulp, Blink-182, Snow Patrol, Guns n Roses, Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, Cranberries and many many more. We are a 5 piece covering drums, bass, lead and rhythm guitars and vocals. We bring the full rock show experience to your event with our amps, drums and lights. Our sets are flexible, with an average show being around 2 hours. We can also offer the chance for the guests of honour to sing with the band! We have been together as a band since 2018, and we love to perform live. We have played some amazing stages, festivals and venues, but the thing that always makes a great show is the audience. We build engagement and include the audience in our shows, with our guitarist popping up in the middle of the dancefloor to play an iconic riff, or having people join us on stage. Its all about the audience! We would love to perform for you and your guests, get in touch so that we can discuss your requirements and build the perfect show for you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We get a lot of feedback about our vocal performances, our amazing lead guitarist, and the sound quality of our setup. We are a full rock and roll band, and we like to make the most of our guitars and drums. We like to engage with the audience and have a few songs that we invite people to sing with us. The audience has a great time, as do we!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed in pubs, clubs, venues and festival stages across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties. Notable venues include The Jericho Tavern, The Bullingdon and O’Neills in Oxford.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We are all rock fans and love live music. Various members of the band have been to see Oasis, Guns n Roses, Foo Fighters, Stereophonics, Wombats and many others live recently. We love playing live and supporting live music.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have headlined at The Bullingdon and at The Heyford Festival. The biggest crowd we have had recently was in The Swan in Wantage on a bank holiday weekend. It was rocking!!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes, the singer will be the same as seen in the videos. He’s very good!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is for 5 people. Drums, 2x guitars, 1 x bass and vocals.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Please let us know as soon as you can and we will work together to make sure your event is as you would like it to be

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide music between sets over the PA if required.

How much time do you need to set up?

We typically take 1 hour to set up, and need an additional 15 minutes for sound check. We usually like to finish this about an hour before performance time if we can, but recognise that timings don’t always allow for that.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We prefer to have a set list that we perform. But if there are particular songs you like, let us know as we have performed a great many more, and they may be in our back catalogue.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, all the equipment is included in the quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If there is a particular song you are interested in, let us know and we will confirm if we can prepare in time. There is a good chance we will have played it before!
