The Flames The Flames are a truly amazing, high quality, three-piece multi-talented band based in London. They play a vast repertoire of material from the 60’s to the present day that allows them to adapt to any given scenario. Upbeat and full of energy, they cover hits from 1960’s to present day and are guaranteed to get you up and dancing. The band has something for everyone with a multitude of old favorites for all ages, tastes and events. As individual characters, musicians and performers, each member is unique and immensely talented in their own right but brought together, the fusion that is The Flames, comes alive. The band consists of Steve – vocals/keys, Vinzenz– vocals/Bass guitar and Philipp G – drums. If you want loud and lively, The Flames will get you up dancing, creating a party atmosphere. If you want to listen or have them play in the background, they will set the ambience. The Flames have performed all over the world, at some of the most prestigious venues all over the country such as, The Millenium Stadium, Wembley arena, The O2, Hampton Court Palace, NEC Exhibition Halls, Lulworth Castle, Kew Gardens Gallery, Latimer House, Heythrop Park, Alexandra Palace, Dalhousie Castle, Grand Hotel - Brighton and appeared at the world renowned "San Remo festival" in Italy. Steve Haswell – Lead singer and keyboards Steve was signed to Polydor and Sony records and toured extensively around Europe singing his own compositions to stadium audiences of over thirty thousand people a night. He was first support to the Backstreet Boys and East 17 whilst being signed. His musical talents have enabled to him to travel the world, performing with his own band in Dubai, Singapore, America, Pakistan, Cyprus, Kosovo, Ghana, Oman, Israel, Australia and Argentina. He has appeared on stage in London's West End playing the lead role of Double J in the original cast of Saturday Night Fever at the London Palladium and worked with global brands such as Adidas, BMW, Wella, Harley Davidson, Reebok, Next, Honda, Vodaphone and artists such as Elton John, Spice Girls, Kylie Minogue and Take That to name a few. Vinzenz Benjamin - Bassist, producer, musical director London based bass player and producer Vinzenz Benjamin has been a part of the UK music scene for the last 20 years. His strong, authentic playing style and reliability as a session musician in all kinds of musical scenarios has earned him the call up of many well established touring artists. Vin is also regularly being called upon for his experience and professional input as a session musician as well as his creative skills as a music producer and musical director. Over the last two decades Vin has worked extensively in the studio and on stage internationally with artists such as Go West, Holly Johnson, Sister Sledge, Cutting Crew, Rick Astley, ABC, Tony Hadley, Kim Wilde, Nik Kershaw, Paul Young, T’Pau, Jason Donovan, Belinda Carlisle and many more. Philipp G - Drummer Originally from Austria, I began hitting the pots and pans in my parent’s bakery from very early on and after a couple of years studying piano, I eventually acquired my first set of drums at the age of 8. I started playing my first gigs at 15 and soon after was booked on professional level. In the following years I was member of countless bands, working alongside successful Austrian acts like multi-platinum selling band Die Seer before moving to Vienna to study at the Vienna Jazz Conservatory. During my time in Vienna I played drums alongside Tower Of Power's legendary frontman Hubert Tubbs, 2002 Latin Grammy nominee Celeste Carballo and toured Europe working as drum-tech for Terry Bozzio. In 2003 I felt the urge to experience a new scene and a brief spell of touring the UK triggered a move to London in 2004. I have since enjoyed a versatile and busy schedule both live and in the studio and have gained a wealth of experience from amazing songwriters, producers, film composers to touring with established acts and studio sessions with some top names in the industry. Mike + The Mechanics, Go West, Taylor Dayne, Roachford, Nik Kershaw, Chris de Burgh, Bonnie Tyler, Kim Wilde, ABC and Paul Young.
