Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our versatility and wide range of repertoire mean that we fit perfectly in a range of events. Whether it's a drinks reception where we are performing high-energy reels or a wedding ceremony where we are performing slow ballads, we'll ensure the music for your event is perfectly tailored to you.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have performed at hundreds of venues throughout the UK, as well as further afield! Some of our favourite venues include the Gleneagles Hotel, the Balmoral Hotel, and Skibo Castle!
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
We have a range of influences from a range of genres but mainly those who perform traditional Scottish music.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
We've performed at lots of high-profile exclusive events for both companies and individual clients. Some of our favourites were held at Edinburgh and Stirling Castle!
Do you have different line-up options?
Our standard line-up consists of 2 fiddles, however, we do offer a package that includes a pianist alongside the fiddles.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We are very flexible with regard to timings and appreciate that timings may change after you have booked. Just keep us posted as things change and we'll do our best to accommodate any new requirements!
How much time do you need to set up?
We can set up almost instantly if we are performing acoustically. The sound of the fiddle travels very well when played acoustically so for the majority of events, we don't require a PA system.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
Yes of course! If you have any additional requests, just let us know.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes, absolutely! We bring all of the equipment that we require.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. This tends to be the case when we perform for wedding ceremonies.
