The Dail Trio are a group of professional musicians based in South Wales. Our sound is soulful, elegant and fun: we perform an eclectic mix of pop, soul and jazz that sets the perfect tone for your wedding ceremony, drinks reception, garden party or anniversary celebration. With renditions of well-loved songs that are quirky, relaxed and uplifting, there is sure to be something to make everyone smile in our set. Comprising saxophonist Sam Robertson, pianist Cat Razzell and vocalist Erin Williams-Jones, the Dail Trio have spent many years playing together professionally and have developed a great ear for how to tailor music perfectly to each and every occasion. We know how important music is in making your day unforgettable, so if you’ve got any special requests for songs, we’re always happy to have a chat about how we can bring these to life for you. We can travel, we can sing in Welsh, and we can also offer a playlist service to ensure the good times keep rolling!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Our clients always comment on the joyful and relaxed atmosphere our performances create. Our trio has a warm, full and rich sound that fills a room beautifully, enhancing the mood whilst allowing conversation between your guests.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at a variety of wedding venues and cocktail bars in the South Wales area and further afield.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

With our sound ranging from the uplifting blues music of Norah Jones and Ella Fitzgerald to bouncy acoustic covers of celebrated Motown hits, from well-loved modern folk music covers to laidback renditions of songs by world famous artists such as The Beatles and the Arctic Monkeys, there's sure to be something for everyone.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Our musicians perform in a variety of different projects. Our collective experience has seen us playing music festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown and Green Man, and performing at high profile venues such as the Wales Millennium Centre, the Principality Stadium and the Royal Albert Hall.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Almost certainly! We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the day of your event. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Keys and Saxophone. We also have a 4 piece option that includes Drums.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you would like a DJ service via our PA after our set, please let us know so we can discuss options that suit you.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 hour before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you.
