Winners of Reading Got Talent 2016, The Curious Sounds are a cabaretesque steampunk band with great vocals, accordion, piano, sousaphone, percussion and fiddles. They typically dress in clothes that may have been fashionable in the 1890s and play their own weird and wonderful melodies. Some of these can be heard on their EP "Dead Man's Tankard" (available on iTunes and Spotify from November 2016). Their repertoire ranges from klezmer tunes via waltzing sea shanties to ragtime.
