Praised by audiences for their “spellbinding performances,” the Creation Quartet is an emerging string quartet bringing a youthful and vibrant energy to the stage. Founded by four international friends and colleagues during their studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, the quartet trained intensively under the guidance of Rivka Golani and Leon Bosch, and appeared in masterclasses with the Piatti Quartet and Linos Trio. Since the quartet’s inaugural concert in December 2021, their momentum has taken them across the UK on exciting collaborations with prominent musicians and composers such as Nathen Durasamy, Andrew Bernardi and Malcolm Singer. They also enjoy regularly providing light entertainment and background music at weddings, private parties and events for a range of clients including the Royal Academy of Arts and the Duke of Norfolk at Arundel Castle. Alongside their performance projects, the quartet has branched out into music education, appearing as guest tutors at the Bernardi Music Group String Academy. The quartet’s name pays tribute to the founding father of the string quartet genre; Franz Joseph Haydn, composer of the well-known work “The Creation”.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know and we will do our best to accomodate the change.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually require at least thirty minutes to set up before the event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

For indoor events we only require four armless chairs to be provided by you for us to perform, and we'll take care of everything else! For outdoor events we also require an over-head canopy or cover to protect our instruments from direct sunlight and potential rain.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes, absolutely! If there is a special piece or song you would like us to perform, we would be happy to learn it for you. Often we are able to source new music online for free, but sometimes we may need to charge an extra £60 if we need to arrange the music ourselves.
