The Consummates are a 6-piece female-led wedding, party and corporate band based in Birmingham and the West Midlands, featuring two female vocalists, guitar, keys, bass and drums. Our sound is built around big vocal harmonies, strong musicianship and high-energy live performance, with a repertoire spanning pop, rock, disco, soul and classic dancefloor favourites from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today. Expect songs from artists such as ABBA, Tina Turner, Bryan Adams, Queen, Bruno Mars, Dolly Parton and more. All members of the band are seasoned live performers with years of experience across bands, solo work and duo projects. We’re professional, friendly and easy to work with, and we pride ourselves on creating a fun, upbeat atmosphere that gets guests singing, dancing and involved from the first song to the last. We perform at weddings, corporate events, Christmas parties, birthdays, private celebrations and live music venues, and can provide flexible set options, professional PA and interval music to suit the event.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes — Grace, our lead singer, is always the same as you see in the videos. We keep the vocal identity of the band consistent, so couples can book with confidence knowing the lead voice and front-person they see in our promo will be there on the night.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes — our standard line-up is a 6-piece band with two female vocalists, guitar, keys, bass and drums. We can also scale down to a 5-piece option for smaller venues or budgets, while keeping the same high-energy live sound.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem — we’re happy to be flexible with timings within reason. If things change slightly in the run-up to the event, just let us know and we’ll do our best to work around your schedule.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. We can provide playlist music via iPad before and between our live sets, and we also work with a very experienced professional DJ who can be added if you’d like a full DJ service as part of the evening.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually need around 1.5 hours before the performance to load in, set up and soundcheck. Once everything is ready, we can provide background music through our PA to help set the atmosphere before the live sets begin.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Within reason, absolutely — we’re happy to include your favourites and avoid any songs you don’t want. That said, we’ve played enough events to know what works on a dancefloor, so you can also relax and let us do the hard work for you.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes — our quote includes all the equipment we need for the performance, including our professional PA system and stage lighting, so you don’t need to arrange anything separately.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Absolutely — we’re happy to learn your first dance at no extra cost. If there are any additional songs outside our usual repertoire that you’d like us to learn, we can usually accommodate them, but we may need to charge a small fee to cover extra rehearsal time.
