It was a fantastic afternoon, loved by all who came. My dad had an amazing birthday thanks to the Cockney Sparrows and he hasn't stopped talking about it what a wonderful time he had. Highly recommend them

An outstanding experience which entertained and got everyone dancing - young and old. For us Brits it was great to be reminded of all these great songs and for guests from elsewhere it was an eye opener onto part of our culture that is such good fun. Everyone joined in, especially when the song sheets came out and the Conga got going. The Hokey Cokey towards the end was inspired. All my guests were blown away and so many told me how much they enjoyed this and how unexpected and original it was but so easy to enjoy and participate.

Thank you so much for getting our party started in such spectacular fashion. You are incredibly talented artists and everyone had a fantastic time. You were exactly what we wanted and were brilliant to watch and sing along with. I cannot recommend the Cockney Sparrows enough. CJ’s communication leading up to our wedding was excellent.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes. Our act is so individual that front-man CJ is indispensable. However we do have great 'dep' musicians available in case another band member falls ill or is unavailable.

Do you have different line-up options?

Four larger gigs we have been known to add a ukulele and washboard player to the line-up. If budget or space is tight, we can go out as a duo, or even with CJ as a solo act.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, with pleasure. But please note that if this is required beyond the end of our agreed performance time there will be an extra charge.

How much time do you need to set up?

We like to allow 90 minutes for this, but if time is tight we can set up in an hour.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes it is. All we need is mains power.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If the songs you like are about London, then we probably play them already! With a bit of notice we can certainly prepare the odd request for you.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The humour, the energy and the familiarity of the songs. They love the song sheets we hand out to help them sing along.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Everything from village halls to festival stages.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Chas & Dave, Max Miller.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Most of our gigs are either pub gigs, or gigs for private clients. We'll get back to you when Glastonbury calls!
