The Ceilidh band

The Ceilidh band have been playing for Ceilidhs/Parties from the days of T in the Park Ceilidh Tent to weddings and even playing for King Charles. They will always deliver a great fun night and with Gary Coupland -one of Scotland’s top musicians and entertainers-they will provide great music, songs and disco if required. For the ceilidh part Gary will demonstrate the dances in a clear fun way and depending on budget will add other quality musicians. Line ups Solo - Gary with electronic accordion and Bose PA includes Gary calling of dances and doing disco for last hour if required DUO - Gary and Fiddler Trio , Gary , Drummer and Fiddle . A guitarist can also be added depending on budget. We can also use a computer and disco lights if required and can download a playlist of your favourite chart songs, before the event, to be played at anytime of the night to keep the party going. All that is guaranteed is a great night. Gary and his band will supply an upbeat night for you . Even as a solo artist Gary gets great reviews. On arrival Gary asked for everyone's name. Including them all, by name as they danced, or getting them on the dance floor, making all our guests feeling special. Our guests have been raving about the night ever since. We have never been to a ceilidh where everyone has felt so comfortable getting on the dance floor, regardless if they knew the dances. Laughter and hilarity all night during a very professional performance. We would recommend Gary for ceilidhs or any type of party events. Very accommodating and great fun.
