I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic band!! We hired them to perform at our wedding reception and they were amazing! We struggled to find a suitable band initially because my husband and I have polar opposite tastes in music so we needed a band who could do a huge range of styles and on top of that we had chosen a Prince song as our first dance…a very tall order indeed! But the guys absolutely nailed it! The dancefloor was full all night and all of our guests have been raving to us about how fantastic the band were. Bjorn also performed an acoustic set whilst guests were arriving at the venue which set the laid back tone of the day perfectly! I would 100% recommend The Cassettes to anyone looking to hire a band for a wedding or event, not only are they super talented and guaranteed to get the party started but they are the nicest people too!

If you are looking for a band that makes your event memorable to you and your attending guests, then I can’t recommend these guys more highly. My wife and I wanted to have a band at our wedding last summer that ensured a full dance floor all evening and these guys certainly delivered on that. From dealing with special requests, to giving flexibility over which songs they played (unlike other bands who we spoke to, who insisted they would dictate everything), to taking audience requests on the evening, they helped ensure our wedding was the perfect day. And I can highly recommend insisting on the 'Sit Down/500 Hundred' mash up being played - we will never forget all of our wedding guests being sat on the floor multiple times during the song!

Clients love our energy, musicianship and ability to keep the dance floor full all night. Our live saxophone adds something extra, while our varied repertoire ensures there’s something for everyone.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We’ve performed at a wide variety of venues across the UK, from luxury hotels and country estates to wedding barns, marquees and private event spaces including Colshaw Hall, Merrydale Manor, Peckforton Castle, The Deansgate Hotel, Albert Hall Manchester, Grantley Hall, Mottram Hall, Carden Park, Radisson Edwardian Manchester, Alberts Schloss and many more..

We performed at the Cheshire Festival to around 5000 attendees

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes. The singer will be the same as featured in our promotional videos. In the unlikely event of a change, you’ll always be informed in advance.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! The Cassettes are available as a 3-piece, a standard 4-piece line-up including saxophone, or a 5-piece band with the addition of keyboards.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem—just let us know as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We provide a manned DJ/ playlist service which is included in our price, this includes reacting to requests from your guests on the night.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually require around 60–90 minutes to load in, set up and complete a soundcheck.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes! You’re welcome to select your favourites from our repertoire, and we’ll use them to help shape the perfect set for your event. We’ll also use our experience to make sure the music flows brilliantly and keeps the dance floor full.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes! Our quote includes a professional PA system and stage lighting suitable for most events and venues.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes! We’re happy to learn a special song for your event, provided it suits the singer’s voice and works with the band’s instrumentation.
