The Blackheath String Quartet

The Blackheath String Quartet is one of the most sought-after quartets in London and the home counties. The players met and founded the quartet at Trinity College of Music in London, and have remained close friends and colleagues since. In addition to their quartet commitments, freelance with a variety of England’s best-known professional orchestras, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Chineke! Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. Individual credits also include tours with acts such as George Michael, Sting and Kylie Minogue. As well as performing, members of the quartet are also composers and arrangers of reputable note, and take pride in many of our unique arrangements.
