Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
The energy we bring! We always aim to keep the dance floor full for the whole night, and if requested we will learn songs specifically for your event to make it as personal to you as possible. We also take requests on the night if the time allows it.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We have played in venues up and down the country from Tarbert in Scotland to several venues in and around London, including a great variety in between ranging from pubs to larger venues such as the Ironmongers Hall in Barbican, holiday parks such as Black Rock Sands in Wales, the Maccabi youth centre in Glasgow, and The Mere Golf Resort & Spa.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Pink, David Bowie, Wilson Pickett, The Beach Boys, and many others!
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
The highest profile gig to date was the 25th Anniversary Ball Ball in aid of The Christie in mid-2018 which took place at the beautiful Wrenbury Hall in Nantwich. Over 200 people were in attendance, one of the largest crowds we've ever played to!
Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
Yes, we always perform with the same lead singer (Cherry Valentine).
Do you have different line-up options?
Our line-up options are as follows:
• Acoustic Duo: Vocals & Guitar, Upright Bass OR Vocals & Guitar, Guitar & Backing Vocals
• Acoustic Trio: Vocals & Guitar, Bass, Drums/Cajon
• 4-Piece Electric Band: Vocals & Guitar, Bass, Guitar & Backing Vocals, Drums
• 5-Piece Electric Band: Vocals & Guitar, Bass, Guitar & Backing Vocals, Drums, Alto/Tenor Sax
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run-up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Yes, a DJ service can also be provided for a small extra fee if needed.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time, though this takes less if performing as a smaller size band.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
We have a few setlists already set up to go, based on what has been proven to work from our many previous gigs, which we adjust slightly from gig to gig according to the type of event and any requests taken beforehand. We are happy to discuss the setlist prior to the show to make sure we find what works for your event.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes, we can bring all our own PA and lighting equipment and it is included in the price.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Yes, this is a common request! We are happy to learn new songs and have done so many times, particularly for first dances. We may already know the song you would like even if it isn't on our list. If not we are happy to learn new songs but this must be arranged in advance to allow time for rehearsals.
