The Astor Duo

Since 2007, Rachel and Simon have been performing together as The Astor Duo, a flute and guitar ensemble named after the great Argentine composer, Astor Piazzolla. As highly qualified and experienced professional musicians, The Astor Duo provide a bespoke service to all of their clients, and strive for excellence in all that they do. Although they were brought together through their mutual love of South American music, The Astor Duo draw from an extensive and varied repertoire library and are highly experienced in providing music for weddings, corporate functions and other events across the North of England. As a skilled composer and arranger, Simon can transform many popular, contemporary and traditional works into beautiful arrangements for the versatile flute and guitar ensemble.
