Formed in the infancy of the UK’s first lockdown in 2020 by a pack of hungry musicians with no venues to play at; That Britpop Band is a no-holds-barred tribute to what is arguably the greatest and last major British movement in music: 90s Britpop. From the genre’s obvious big-hitters such as Oasis, Blur, Pulp, and The Verve; to the often-unsung heroes like Supergrass, Shed Seven, and The Seahorses; the band leave no Britpop-shaped stone unturned in their tribute show. Why hire a tribute band for just one act when you can hire a genre tribute who cover the lot?!?! The band itself is comprised of four musicians whose combined gigging history would put the most seasoned of players to shame! Having played all over the world from New Zealand to Old Camden Town with the likes of Bill Wyman, Bad Manners, Babyshambles, The View, Ben Waters, John Power and the mighty Chas & Dave (to name but a few), it’s fairly safe to say that these boys know their way around the stage!

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes! We can work as an acoustic duo, an acoustic trio, an electric trio and and electric four piece (full band)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Not a problem - we are always happy to negotiate new terms and conditions that best suit the client and the artistes.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! We can custom-make a DJ set list for our client if required. We charge £100 per hour for this service.

How much time do you need to set up?

Full band set-up time would be a minimum of 30 minutes. We find a full and thorough sound and lighting check takes 1-1.5hrs. We prefer this option but are flexible.

Can you roam around while you perform?

To an extent! The singer uses a wireless system but everything else is wired.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists have been finely tuned and we are confident that we can produce a set which ensures guests will dance and sing along. However we are more than happy to chat and discuss various requests for songs and sets.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes - everything is included

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes - More than happy to discuss the option of a special song with the client and at no extra cost.

From start to finish you felt as if it was the 90s all over again . From the big hits from oasis and blur to the lesser known but great hits from the likes of cast and the seahorses with every song sounding more authentic than the last, pure Brit pop nostalgia that makes you feel 16 again. definitely (maybe) an absolute must for any 90s kid "girls and boys" will love them just don't get "Caught by the fuzz" from all dancing and partying.
