I'm Tessa and I love to play violin, for weddings, events and parties!

Violinist in a concert orchestra for 16 years, including 10 years as the leader. During this period I played the Bach Double Violin Concerto with a friend at a concert, and before that on stage at the Victoria Hall in Hanley. Now I'm playing for weddings and can play classical, popular, film and tv music. I started playing violin at the age of 9 and gradually built up my experience as an orchestral and solo player. I have played in orchestra in the North East of England, and in the Netherlands. I also play in a string quartet. I love all types of music, having started out with purely classical genre, I've added playing accompaniments to popular music, incorporating keynotes and additional flourishes. I've played in open mic evenings with friends, also playing Irish and Scottish folk Fiddle to the repertoire.

I just want to say a massive thankyou for playing at my wedding. I had guests message me the day after to say how much they loved the songs you played and how good you were. You played my walking in song so perfectly it added so much emotion to me walking down the aisle. Thank you so much x
