Hiya! I'm a Singer-Songwriter from Newquay, Cornwall. My music blends a stripped-back acoustic style with a modern pop edge, aiming to create a sound that’s both relatable and atmospheric. I have been performing for over 11 years, whether that's busking as a teen, playing to big festival crowds every summer or playing in local cosy pubs and restaurants every week. I also graduated with a degree in Songwriting a couple of years ago. My own songs explore themes of loss, love and vulnerability. For example my latest single ‘bad dreams’ - a hauntingly beautiful track that combines rich imagery with strong hooks leaving a quiet, lasting impact. I perform because I love it! I love connecting with audiences and seeing their smiles, or sometimes their tears - it's a special and intimate to connect with someone on that level.

We’ve booked Tess twice now to play at our events at the Buttermarket in Redruth. Both times she was extremely professional during the booking process, great communication and very quick responses. Her performances on the night were perfect for our events, a mix of covers and originals delivered beautifully. We can’t recommend Tess highly enough. We’ll be booking her again!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

How they can be quite intimate and special, specific to the client whether it's a wedding breakfast, birthday party or a private proposal.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I mainly gig around Cornwall, venues such as: Lusty Glaze, The Colonial Tolcarne, The Buttermarket Redruth, Jacksons Wine Bar Nanseldan, Driftwood Spars St Agnes, and I also play at festivals such as Tunes In The Park and Wild Gardens of Port Elliot in summer.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I'd say my style is most influenced by Lizzy McAlpine, Billie Eilish, and Gracie Abrams but an English acoustic and atmospheric version!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've played at private weddings before, and big festivals such as Tunes In The Park, but most of my regular gigs are at lovely restaurants or pubs where people love to go.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No worries if things vary slightly, just keep me in the loop as much as possible!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, my PA can connect to my phone so I'm happy to play whatever songs you would prefer beforehand and in-between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

It only takes me around 30 minutes to set up and do a little sound check!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I'm happy to learn a few of your favourite songs, or tailer my set more to your taste.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I always bring everything I need - I just need somewhere to plug it in.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Happy to learn specific songs beforehand for a fee of £25 to take into account rehearsal times.
