Terry Carr

Terry is most defiantly world famous when it comes to playing bagpipes. Terry was the lone piper who led the players onto the pitch, whilst playing the pipes, for Manchester United at Old Trafford, when legendary football manager Sir Matt Busby sadly pasted away. Playing a haunted Ballard before the minutes silence was observed. Terry was also the lone piper at Old Trafford, who on the 50th anniversary of the Munich Air Disaster, lead the teams out onto the pitch playing the Manchester United tune played at the European Games “You’ll never die”. Terry is an expert on protocol when playing at Funerals, Weddings and Surprise parties. His expertise make every event an easy part to your tailored occasion playing solo or as part of a duo with Christine Wardyn for maximum impact. Terry has played in England's legendary grade one pipe band, the famous Mount Carmel Pipe Band of Salford. Terry has, also, won a number of solo competitions and is the founder member of the famous Phoenix Pipe Band and, recently, the founder member of the Manchester Community Pipe Band. Terry can wear Irish or Scottish uniforms and along with his solo playing is also currently part of the famous Duo Pipers and Manchester Pipers. Terry regularly travels the length of the country and is able to make any function a memorable occasion. Terry is more than happy to take you through the protocol regarding your special day.
