Rhythms of the City is the number one go to band to guarantee first class musical quality and absolute crowd pleasing entertainment. Their appeal is universal and the attention to detail in their musical arrangements is inspiring. As part of Carnival Fantastico, presented for Waltham Forest Borough of Culture, ROTC arranged and performed pre-match and half-time processional tributes to Legends of Leyton Orient, a celebration of generations of the club's heroes from the Great War to the late Justin Edinburgh; and the club's foundation within the fabric of the local community. The band's rendition of the team's sacred walk out song, Tjuanna Taxi, raised the roof of the capacity stadium. And then they went on to play a 2 hour bandstand concert performed by three eclectic groups from within their company.

I booked Rhythms of the City to perform in Margate Carnival 2019. I was delighted with the high standard of the arrangements, playing and performance. It was a charming and original presentation with Alexander de Great, and totally appropriate for the occasion and audience. They are amongst the best live bands in carnival music available.
