Ted Mapley

Ted has been a pleasure to work with and record. He has an immense attention to detail and a passion for music. His collaboration is worthy for any artist who is looking for a top quality bass player. Ted is adaptive, hard working, kind, funny, encouraging, supportive, talented, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. His musical knowledge and bass playing is 2nd to none, anyone who needs an accomplished player, Ted is versatile for any genre. His dedication to his work is inspiring and he improves other people around him to work towards their own goals. He’s also annoyingly very good at everything.

Working with Ted in the studio is something I can always enjoy, as I’m able to sit back and listen to his ideas. His ability to create, learn parts, and perform them to the best of his ability demonstrates just how professional and reliable he is. Coming from a place where we’ve developed great chemistry over time only proves that he’s a mastermind when it comes to finding the right tones and adapting to different styles. For example, from my single “OUTTA MY LIFE,” which features a grunge fuzz tone, to an indie-pop song like “BEFORE ME,” Ted’s versatility always leaves an artist like myself extremely satisfied. Ted has played a huge part in my singles and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
