What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our concerts are appreciated for the quality and professionalism acquired over many years of experience, our punctuality, our ease of communication, our organizational skills, and our ability to integrate into an existing organization. (wedding planner)
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
TchikiSwing Qtet has performed in a variety of settings: jazz festivals, clubs, regional venues, and private events. We adapt our gypsy jazz to all types of venues, from intimate stages to large stages.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Django Reinhardt and the great names of jazz, Count Basie, Gerry Mulligan, Tadd Dameron
But also contemporary musicians such as Romane, Angelo Debarre, Stochelo Rosenberg...
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
The most memorable concert for the TchikiSwing Qtet remains our performance at the Manouch'Muzik Festival in Mazères. The energy shared under the stars with the audience recreated the magic of the clubs of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Every stage is a unique opportunity for us to bring the gypsy swing to life!
Do you have different line-up options?
Our lineup is as follows: Clarinet, double bass, and two guitars. We also offer a five-piece option with a singer.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Please feel free to discuss any schedule changes with us. We will try to accommodate you.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
We can provide iPod service between our sets.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually set up 1 to 1.5 hours before the show starts. As soon as our sound system is in place, we can offer you a free playlist to create the atmosphere and prepare your guests for our live performance!
Can you roam around while you perform?
It is not possible for us to move during our performance
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
You can easily choose songs from our setlist. We would be delighted to discuss this with you in order to find the ideal solution for your event.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
The sound system equipment is included in our quote. We do not have a lighting system. We generally require a minimum space of 4m x 3m for our service
Can you learn song requests before the event?
It's possible to play a special piece for you. We need to discuss this beforehand.
