What if my timings change after I've booked you?
In most situations I am able to be flexible with minor timing changes, just let me know and we can discuss it to ensure your event runs smoothly. If your timings have changed drastically (ie a different date) I'll do my best to accommodate you, but this may not always be possible.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Of course. I provide ipod music before and between sets at no additional charge. DJ services after the final set can be quoted on a case by case basis.
How much time do you need to set up?
For solo bookings I generally set up 45mins to 1hr before the performance time.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
My set lists are crafted from years of performances and learning what works best to ensure your guests have a great time. That said, I'm always happy to chat though if you have favourite songs you'd like to hear, and am happy to play specific songs at specific times to punctuate special occasions (ie. songs during a wedding service).
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes. Alternatively, if your venue already has an in-house PA system I am happy to play through this if you prefer. In this situation I will need confirmation from the venue that they can meet my tech requirements.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Sometimes! If there's a special song you'd like to hear let me know and I'll assess whether I can manage it. The greater the lead time before your event, the greater the chance I will be able to learn a new song for you. Though do bear in mind, not all songs will sound on the ukulele as you might expect them to!
