Tara and Siannie have been playing music together for many years and love performing as their long-established duo. Tara’s fiddle playing combines sonorous clarity with great rhythmic pulse while Siannie is an inventive accompaniment and tune player. These elements come together to create beautiful, energetic and joyful music. Hailing from the Highlands and the North-East of Scotland, they mingle traditional Scottish and Irish tunes with international influences from around the world. Their repertoire also encompasses classical and pop to suit the occasion. Tara and Siannie have performed for a wide range of events at diverse venues including The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in Edinburgh, Achnagairn Castle, Fingask Castle, Belladrum Festival and many more. Their vibrant sound has also proved popular internationally and they have been invited to perform throughout Europe for weddings and concerts.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Please let us know if any timings change prior to the event. We try and be flexible.

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes

Can you roam around while you perform?

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

No. PA and sound engineering is extra.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, if a tune is not included in our tune list we will be happy to play a special song for you, any further tune choices will be £30 to reflect additional rehearsal time.
