Tamsin & Rowan Elliott

Tamsin grew up between Irish sessions at the local pub, festivals like WOMAD and a classical training on flute; so while her roots are in the folk music of the British Isles, her interests and playing styles extend much further afield to the musics of mainland Europe and the Middle East. Rowan has played violin from a young age and enjoys playing everything from folk, classical and klezmer to jazz. He also plays viola, cello, guitar, oud and drums. Together the Elliott siblings pay homage to the traditions that have inspired them, whilst bringing a contemporary edge to their sound.
