What We Offer: We provide a wide range of packages designed to suit every part of your day, from the ceremony and cocktail hour to the evening reception and DJ after party. Our ceremony, acoustic, cocktail hour, and DJ packages are available as solo, duo, trio and quartet options featuring any combination of the following: vocalist, saxophonist, guitarist, cajon/bongo/drum kit, keys, and bass guitar. Our Signature Evening Band packages Our live band packages are one of our most popular options! Offering live band 3, 4, 5 and 6 piece options with both male and female vocalists. What's Included - 2 x 45 minute phenomenal upbeat live sets, we find these timings to always work the best! - Drums, bass, keys or saxophone, electric guitar and vocals, a perfect 5-piece line up - An upbeat DJ playlist featuring all the best well-known songs, played before and between the live sets, with an additional FREE 30 minutes after our final set. - Professional lighting for an unforgettable visual experience - Professional full-range sound system suited to all venue sizes - We'd love to learn your first dance! I can’t recomend them enough! I was the maid of honour at a wedding that Take the Floor played recently and we all had so much fun! They got the whole room dancing and made the evening a party. The band was super flexible with what we needed and was engaging the crowd to make every song really hit. Running up to the wedding they were really friendly and super quick to respond to any queries we had, they had a few different packages depending on budget, and were flexible on the day when speeches ran over time. Overall I was really impressed, they’re great performers, competent professionals, and very sound people

The comment below was received by the bassists successful wedding band (ran for 10 years) before Take the Floor formed. We’re a new lineup, but all highly experienced musicians. Top quality band! Have experienced these guys playing at a few weddings now and they never fail to get the guests up, moving and having an amazing time! 10/10 would recommend

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

We offer a wide range of line up options, from acoustic solo and duos to full 5 and 6 piece bands. Our most popular is the 5-piece lineup, consisting of drums, bass, keys, guitar and a female lead vocalist

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £150

How much time do you need to set up?

Our set up will take 1 hour

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our playlists have been carefully refined to give you the PERFECT sets, appealing to ALL AGES and keeping the energy up all night. In order to guarantee you with the best performance we prefer to stick to our tried and tested sets, these are continually refined to make sure your wedding or event is the best party of the year.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
