I started my musical adventure as a percussionist and a singer in rock, reggae and ska bands back in the 90's. After moving to London I continued my music passion with studying with the masters of percussion art. I played in world music bands, Ecstatic Dance band, kirtan events and along the DJ's with vast array of music genres. I started to learn handpans and I released 2 albums to date. I also run sound therapy workshops using hand drums and other instruments since 2006. I facilitate drum circle type events for parties. I have a big experience playing percussion at weddings, birthday parties, functions, corporate events etc. I use original latin setup consisting of congas, timbales, bongos and bells to fit and spice up many genres.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I always try my best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I usually play to a DJ music so it is not relevant. If you want me to organise a DJ for you I can help.

How much time do you need to set up?

About 20-30 minutes should be fine.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

I play to the most beat orientated (danceable) music to spice it up and encourage people to dance and enjoy the event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

I bring all instruments I play. Let me know if they need to be amplified (microphones). Mist of the time I play loud enough to cut through loud DJ music.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Most of the time I improvise with the vast array of rhythms I have learnt. They should fit many styles of music.
