Tim has been playing the saxophone for over three decades and was the principal saxophonist for the band of the Scots Guards. He now provides first class background music that is sure to compliment any function. He studied jazz at Middlesex University and holds a diploma in performance. Tim has performed for royalty and famous celebrities and for many clients is their 'go to' saxophonist.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients have told me many times how much they loved my playing and how pleasant I was to work with. I have also been told that the choice of music was exactly right for their event and that I dressed appropriately too. I am always punctual and this has been noted many times.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall, The Sidney Opera House 'The Ivy' restaurant. Numerous private functions both solo and with bands.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Dave Koz. Michael Brecker. Cannonball Adderley. Charlie Parker. John Coltrane. Bela Fleck. Ernie Watts (Buddy Rich Band) Bob Berg.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Handover Ceremony of Hong Kong in 1997 The funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace. Private party with the Four Tops for famous footballer.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always try to be flexible and accommodate your requirements where possible. It's normally just a case of altering my schedule where possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. I can play a suitable playlist to cover breaks. You input regarding choice of music is of course always welcome.

How much time do you need to set up?

Half an hour to an hour depending on location etc. I only require a power source for my speaker.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course. I am happy to include your personal favourites.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. I will bring PA, speaker and where necessary microphone. I just need a power source.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes within reason! I don't charge to add tunes provided they are easily obtainable.
