Swingology

we are a swing jazz band that play tradditional up beat jazz songs or well known pop songs is a gypsy jazz style as instrumentals or with vocals. as we all sing. Our repetoire covers gypsy jazz standards, and trad jazz songs such as Frank Sinatra covers and popular songs from the 6os 70s 80s, in a toe tapping swing style. our normal 3 piece line up consists of 2 acoustic guitars and a double bass with the occasional song including a banjolele or mandolin. We can also add drums and violin/ flute sax as a 4 piece or 5 piece. We can play all types of events you can see live clips of us all over you tube. there are bands with similar names we are Swingology based in Liverpool. We play parties and wedding regularly and our aim at these events is to entertain, try get everyone to sing along to their feet or dance along with well known popular songs we will perform in an upbeat style. For larger events we can add drums or even a violin/ saxaphone and flute. For corporate events we can play low key if required and play more mellow songs and instrumentals and blend into the background if required .
