We had a fantastic experience with Jazz with Us. Lilac was a phenomenal performer and swept the whole crowd along with her. Remko worked really hard on the sound so that the levels were perfect and everything went exactly to plan. The musicians were extremely talented and wove a magical atmosphere. Our guests, from those in their 80s to those in their 20s were full of praise for the band and it made our special day just that bit extra special. It was a joy to see such brilliant musicians, we couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely recommend for any event!

I can’t express enough how happy we are that we choose this band. They made my mums surprise 60th birthday party a night to remember! They were extremely professional & listened to our requests prior to the event & excelled our expectations on the night. We gave them a playlist of my mums favourite songs to incorporate in the night & they put their own twist on the songs so they fit perfectly with the 1920s party theme. The whole room was up & dancing & they created an amazing atmosphere. They are so versatile and extremely talented that I would definitely use them again for any future event. All the guests raved about them and said what a wonderful night they had. Thanks again Jess, her family & friends x

Unbelievably big thanks to what you put on for us! It delivered on all fronts!! The sax to start things off was absolutely incredible - exactly the vibe we were after. Then Remko was a hero in sorting the music to walk in on and the music during the breakfast! But the band, boy oh boy did they steal the show - I lost track of the number of comments from our guests on how good you guys were! The bits where you came out into the crowd and got stuck in were epic. We knew you’d be good but you surpassed all expectations!!

I hired Lilac and Swing With Us for my 30th Birthday party and the performance and work they did was amazing. They were professional and adapted well with the crowd, even changed some of the set list last minute and had no problem in doing that. They really made my birthday special and the lighting made our garden look amazing too! I will be recommending them to people for any event and hope I can find an excuse to hire them again myself soon! Thank you for your hard work, Zoe

What do your clients love most about your performances?

• Roaming instruments! We realise that our performance is all about YOUR special day, so we roam the dancefloor and ensure you and your guests are an integral part of the experience. • You choose ALL the songs, to ensure the sets are unique to your event only. • Fun yet attentive - We don't take ourselves too seriously, but take your event VERY seriously!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes - Always. Based on your line-up we will suggest the best lead vocalist or you can request a specific vocalist you liked from the videos.

Do you have different line-up options?

The band is available from solo jazz musician up to an 8 piece band. We can either recommend a line-up, or you can request your preferred instruments: Vocals, piano, sax, clarinet, double bass, guitar, drums, trumpet, trombone.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We understand that timings for any event can vary and always remain as flexible as possible within reason, both prior to and during the event. On the day of the event, a delay of more than 30mins in start time will be resolved by either: 1) shortening the performance 2) offering musicians an extra fee of £50/pp (providing that they are able to stay longer)

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes absolutely - We provide both Disco Playlists and Manned DJ options. Please refer to your cover letter for what's included in your and what options are available as an upscale.

How much time do you need to set up?

We offer flexible setup solutions for any event and ensure that this is done in agreement with the client, venue and event planner.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can select ALL your songs, and even some songs which aren’t on our list, to ensure that your show is fully-tailored and unique to your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Indeed. Remember, bands can only sound as good as the amplification they’re playing through. That's why we use PAT tested high-end amplification, as well as party, stage & mood lighting with a dedicated engineer, to ensure everything looks & sounds just right all throughout your event. * Make sure to ask your venue whether or not they use a noise limiter.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes. Learning new songs keeps us quick on our feet and keeps our repertoire fresh. This will normally be free of charge (within reason) * In case you have an exceptional request (i.e song arrangement for a large band or a large number of songs especially prepared) we may have to charge a bit extra.
