Sizzle Kings formed around the desire to bring together the timeless traditions of Jazz and Latin Jazz. We are about celebrating the time when Jazz and Latin Jazz walked hand in hand towards the sunset. Performing swinging Jazz and sizzling Old-time Jazz classics for every generation! Aiming to spread joyous, fun energy with our timeless music selection! We are new to the wonderful Encore platform, but very much seasoned London players having performed extensively in various corners of the world. We haven’t just played internationally we also made sure we studied music from the source. Being a collective of musicians who have studied all over the globe from Berklee College of Music (Boston USA) , The Royal Academy (London), Guildhall, Escuela de Musica de Havana (Cuba), Mantanzas (Cuba), Rio (Brazil), Madrid (Spain), La Paz (Bolivia), to Ayia Napa (Cyprus). We share a deep and knowledgeable expertise which is passionately expressed in our music. Being musicians from an early age we grew up playing music and feel like music chose us rather than the other way round. We live for music work with it night and day. As session players and some of our performance highlights include venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Somerset House, Glastonbury Festival, Secret Garden Party, Wilderness Festival, The Tate Modern, Saatchi Gallery, Westminster Abbey, Ronnie Scott’s, The Vortex, The Eden Project and many more! We are solid, reliable and make a point of being there for our clients and audiences so that the shared musical experience can be optimal for all parties involved.
