We are Sunday Avenue, a talented and versatile duo featuring Aimee and Dave, two accomplished musicians with extensive experience in live performance, songwriting, and production. A bit about us: Aimee: With over 20 years in the music industry, Aimee's career began with jazz bands and evolved into international tours with folk artist Lou Brown, recording two studio albums featured on BBC Radio 2. A First-Class Music Production graduate, Aimee has released her own downtempo lo-fi pop EP Sense and worked as a live sound engineer. She brings her rich vocals, dynamic arrangements, and engaging stage presence to every performance. Dave: A seasoned guitarist and bassist with 25+ years of experience, Dave has toured and performed alongside acts such as Kasabian, The Pogues, The Wonderstuff and Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Currently a key member of multiple bands, including the critically acclaimed Ian Prowse & Amsterdam, function band ‘Miss-Chief and the Makers and alongside ‘Old Grey Guitarist’ of Tik-Tok and America’s got Talent fame, to name but a few, Dave brings technical expertise and an energetic vibe to the stage. Our duo offers: · A rich repertoire spanning pop, jazz, folk, and contemporary hits. · Professionalism honed through years of live performance at venues, festivals, weddings, and corporate events. · A sound tailored to create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion, whether an upbeat evening or a relaxed acoustic vibe. · We are able to supply our own PA and Lighting for any size venue and occasion.

Sunday Avenue were the absolute highlight of our wedding reception. From the first dance to the final song of the night, they had everyone on the dance floor — even our grandparents were up and moving! Their covers were spot-on, with a great mix of old classics and newer tunes. So many of our guests commented on how amazing they were. We couldn’t have asked for better!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients often say they love the relaxed, professional vibe we bring. There's a real connection when we play, and we always read the room to set the right mood. Whether it’s chilled or upbeat, people appreciate the mix of great music and a friendly, down-to-earth approach.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Botanist Aruba The Brass Haus Numerous Wedding locations across the South and South West of England.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We are a huge fan of Pop music and we love to get people up and dancing!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have performed at numerous weddings/parties etc. As musicians in other groups, we have performed at the Liverpool Echo Area, The O2, The London Palladium, Glastonbury Festival, Womad Festival, Beautiful Days to name but a few.

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes - our duo does not use 'dep' musicians. This is to ensure that the highest possible standards are met with each performance.

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a duo which also uses backing tracks - this is to augment our sound so we are able to perform a huge variety of songs and styles as well as keeping costs down for clients.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We understand that events can change etc - if your timings change slightly then please do let us know - we will ensure that your event runs smoothly!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we do - we have a number of different set lists which we can play between our sets. If you would like our DJ Service via our PA system after our final set until the venue closes then we can provide this for additional £80.

How much time do you need to set up?

We require 1hr to set up and soundcheck - We can provide background music around 20mins into our set-up time as well to help set the atmosphere!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can of course pick which songs you would like from our set list!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3m by 3m space to perform

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If you have a song that you would like us to perform then please let us know in advance. If there is a special song that you would like us to learn then we are happy to do so. There is a fee of £20 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
