Sue was amazing! From start of booking right through to the day. Sue contacted the venue, arranged everything and this was by far the least stressful experience! Sue played amazingly well, every guest commented and lots said that Sue's playing just made the day even better! I highly recommend Sue to anyone looking for an awesome person and awesome pianist!

Amazing musicians! Sue and Lloyd played at our wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast, they are simply amazing. We had classical music at the ceremony, and jazz/pop theme for wedding breakfast, Sue and Lloyd played beautifully – Lloyd is a multi-talent genius, he plays flute, clarinet and many other things! The duo worked perfectly – I wish I had recorded the whole performance! Sue has been really helpful since the beginning, sorting out the baby grand piano shell for the wedding, and helping us to choose the music, very kind! I love every part of my wedding, would say Sue and Lloyd’s music is one of the best parts! Thank you both so much for bringing us such beautiful music, I really appreciate it. Highly recommend Sue and Lloyd to everyone!

The musicians were really lovely. It was a shame that some of the feedback was that quite a few songs were played more than once. They were very professional but they didn't get the guests attention as much as we hoped. They were great as musicians but entertainers they seemed a little shy, which made it awkward. What they played, they played well but it was just missing that something magical. Some guests thought they came with the venue which I wasn't sure how to take. I wish them all the best for the future as musicians.

Sue played beautifully and sensitively at my father's funeral - a lovely range of classical music that was perfect for the occasion. She was very keen to make sure that she fulfilled our needs and she absolutely did. I would recommend her without reservation.

If you're looking for classy background music, Two's Company is just what you need. I booked this duo for a business celebration, and everyone wanted to know where I'd found them. Really hoping we have another business deal to celebrate so I can book them again!

A brilliant experience! Sue was very quick to respond to organisational queries prior to the event. As musicians, Sue and Lloyd were first-class, and fitted in perfectly with the professional, yet relaxed, atmosphere of the launch.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Flexibility and versatility. I have a very good musical ear (and have been in this game a long time!), so if you can hum it, I can probably play it.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

The Parc Hotel, Cardiff The Celtic Manor, Newport The Lime Tree, Chepstow The Globe, Lydney Clearwell Castle Blaina Wharf, Newport Doldowlod Hall, Llandrindod Wells The Caer Beris, Builth Wells etc. etc.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

JS Bach has probably had the greatest influence on all musicians!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Every gig is important, whether it is a playing solo piano for a memorial service in a family home, accompanying a small child for their first violin exam or playing keys in a band on stage. I am always professional, whatever the occasion.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always do my best to be flexible to accommodate minor changes in timings. For example, I was recently booked to play for a wedding turn-around period, and the ceremony over-ran by half an hour. To accommodate this, I adapted my set and played through without a break.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes. I can use prepare a playlist to suit. Alternatively, I can import a playlist if you wish to prepare your own.

How much time do you need to set up?

45 mins if providing a baby grand piano shell and PA. No set-up if using an acoustic piano owned by the venue.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, as long as the venue can guarantee that the piano has recently been tuned!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, of course!

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes. I own a fully weighted Roland FP-4 and supply this free of charge.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, I am always very happy to learn new songs.
