Subway Band

Subway Band was formed in October of 2003 by lead singer Mary Anne, joined by Paul on Vox and Guitar/Synth in 2005, followed by Kev on Bass in 2015 and then by Kev on Drums in 2017 to form the line up we have today. Previously we had Chris on Bass and Keith on Drums who were with the band since 2006 to when their respective replacements (after retirement) came along. We have always been an eclectic band, never settling on one style of music when the world is such a rich and diverse place. Music is our life, all of the current members of Subway Band are professional musicians and have chosen music as our main way to earn a bob or two. We all teach our respective instruments with exception to Kev Drummer, and all the teachers, teach in schools with exception to Mary Anne who is pretty choosy about who she teaches. What we want and expect from audiences at our shows is that they get involved and remember how to have fun - dancing, singing along, toe tapping, knees up, air guitaring.
