Marc and Ashleigh have been playing in the London Jazz and Blues scene for over 10 years, and their new collaboration - Suave - shows of their love of technical interpretation, wild improvisation and the importance of fun in making music. Think Ella and Louis, Bill and Jim, or Ellis and Joao. Throw in a little silliness à la Blossom Dearie or Anita O'Day, and a dash Joe Pass's ferocity, and you've got Suave.

Suave Band, with Ashleigh and Marc, delivered an excellent double-set jazz performance at our Cemtech Europe 2025 Gala Dinner at the Torre Melina Gran Meliá Hotel, Barcelona. Ashleigh’s vocals and natural audience interaction, combined with Marc’s talented guitar playing, created a relaxed atmosphere that worked perfectly for the evening. We received great feedback from delegates and would highly recommend them for corporate events.

Suave do what they say on the tin, they are sauve - smooth, funny, make everyone breath a sigh of comfort as their music glides through the room. Booking them for Chelsea Physic Garden's anticipated Jazz event for Summer On The Lawn felt right as a curator - they brought the sofisticated nuances and classic old-timey easy-access of Jazz together to entertain the die-hards and the newly enthusiastic together
