Stuart Toogood

I am a professional instrumental guitarist specialising in performing at weddings. I also perform at corporate events, Celebrations of Life, private dinners and other special occasions. My music is contemporary In style and I have an extensive repertoire - something for everyone, from The Beatles, Ed Sheeran and Olivia Dean to Metallica and Disney. Over the past 20 years, I have had the honour of performing for more than 450 wedding couples, as well as corporate clients including Britvic, JLR and SMEG. I have also been fortunate enough to perform for a number of celebrity clients and a member of the Royal Family. Before embarking on my solo career, I spent many years performing as a lead guitarist with various bands, playing at some truly iconic venues, including the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool. Alongside performing, I’ve also written a number of songs that have been published, including Coming Back to Me, which I co-wrote with Indica Campbell. The song was subsequently featured on the television music competition Tin Pan Alley, and we were also selected as BBC Introducing’s Featured Artist of the Week. One of the highlights of my musical journey came in 2016, when I had the privilege of supporting UB40’s Ali Campbell, alongside his daughter Indica, at two shows — one at Birmingham’s NIA and another at London Brixton Academy.
