With a degree in Scottish Music (Piping), I have extensive experience in performance. In 2006 I was awarded a Dewar Arts Award and an Arts Trust of Scotland Award in relation to my bagpipe playing. I have extensive grade 1 pipe band experience appearing with Dowco Triumph Street, Glasgow Police and David Urquhart Travel Pipe Bands. I compete in solo competitions in and around Scotland. I have toured France, Denmark, Germany and Scotland playing as part of an ensemble and as a soloist and other career highlights include playing at Tartan Day in both New York and Paris and the Avenches Tattoo in Switzerland. I recorded, mixed and produced Take the Road to Aberfeldy by Margaret Bennett. Throughout my career I have continually built up experience of both ceremonial and corporate performances and am always interested in hearing from potential clients with further opportunities.
